Austin Show Postponed to 5.22 due to Central TX Weather
Dave Matthews Band’s performance scheduled at the Circuit’s Austin360 Amphitheater tonight, May 21, has been postponed by 24 hours until tomorrow Wednesday, May 22, at 7 p.m. due to weather conditions currently affecting the Central Texas region.

All tickets and pre-paid parking passes for the May 21 show will be honored for the rescheduled concert tomorrow night, Wednesday, May 22, at 7 p.m. CDT. Refunds for those who are unable to attend the new date will be available through the Warehouse. Dave Matthews Band’s Bama Works Fund Awards $100,000 Grant to West, Texas Disaster Relief Efforts Fund
The Bama Works Fund of Dave Matthews Band has awarded a grant to the West, Texas Disaster Relief Efforts Fund. The Fund has been endorsed by the West City Council as the preferred recipient of all charitable donations for victims and relief efforts following the fertilizer plant explosion that took place on April 17, 2013 in West, Texas.

More than 200 people were injured in the explosion and 15 people lost their lives, including 11 firefighters. A school, a nursing home, an apartment complex and nearly 100 homes were heavily damaged and must be demolished.

Summer Tour Seat Assignments Posted
Warehouse summer tour seat assignments have been posted to the Ticket Status page! Click on the "check" link on the left side of the page under the Seat Location column. The section and row information will display in a pop up window. In an effort to discourage ticket brokering, the actual seat numbers are not posted. Reserved section seating assignments were done by seniority with the exception of the cities were DMB plays more than one show. The first night of a two night stand was assigned at random, the second night by seniority. The first night of the Gorge was assigned at random and the second and third nights by seniority. Please note that we have not completed all Series 4 ADA seating assignments and expect to have them posted by the end of the day on Monday, April 8th.

The Estimated Ship Dates have been posted. We will post the deadline for changing shipping addresses online next week. GA Pit Upgrade Program
Warehouse seat assignments are being finalized and posted this Friday evening! Once seat assignments have been posted you may view them by clicking on the “check” link under the Seat Location column on the left side of the Ticket Status page.

If you are assigned Pavilion Reserved or GA Lawn tickets you may opt in to be entered into a random drawing for two (2) GA Pit upgrade tickets for one of the shows for which you have been confirmed. To opt in please visit your Ticket Status page and click on the “check” link under the Order Detail column. The deadline for opting in is Friday April 12th at 6:00 pm ET. If you are selected for GA Pit upgrade tickets you will be contacted via email or phone to confirm your upgrade before your ticket order ships.

All GA Pit upgrade tickets will be held for pick up at the will call window at the venue box office on the evening of the show in the name of the member who originally purchased the tickets. Only two (2) tickets from your original order will be eligible for upgrade. The remaining tickets in your order for this and any other shows will be shipped according to the shipping schedule which will be posted to the Ticket Status page by Friday.

Confirmations for Dave Matthews Band 2013 Summer Tour tickets have been posted. Please visit the Ticket Status page to determine if you have been confirmed or declined. Orders will reflect "Confirmed" or "Declined". If confirmed, your ticket level will be posted; seat assignments will be posted to the Ticket Status page in the near future.

Tickets will ship approximately 10 business days prior to the show via FedEx 2-day signature required service. If you have been confirmed for multiple shows in a series, all tickets for the series will ship together approximately 10 business days prior to the first show in the series. If you will not be available to sign for your tickets upon delivery, please go to the Ticket Status page and update your shipping address. You may do so by clicking on the "check" link under the Payment and Shipping Detail column. You will receive an e-mail with tracking information once the tickets ship.

If you have been confirmed for Premium Ticket Packages, you will soon be able to make your Logo Tour Jacket size selections on the Order Detail page in the Ticket Status section. We will email the Premium Ticket Package holders with instructions once the size dropdown menu is available.

The Warehouse offers a few pairs of GA Pit tickets as upgrades to randomly chosen members for every show. Members with Pavilion Reserved and GA Lawn tickets will be contacted within the next week with instructions for opting in for GA Pit upgrade consideration.

Warehouse Ticket Processing And Credit Card Changes
The Warehouse is in the midst of processing the entire summer tour and will be posting confirmations for members on or before Sunday, March 17th. We will send an email when we are ready for members to check their Ticket Status page.

We are truly sorry but, per our Guidelines and Ticketing FAQs, once we begin processing we are completely locked out from making any changes to ticket requests including changes to payment information. We are unable to reprocess orders once they are declined. We understand the disappointment of members that may have cards lost or stolen or replaced but we cannot accept new payment information while processing.

The public on sale for tickets is Friday, March 22nd. If we have any tickets become available to us at a later date after the public sale, we will offer through Warehouse Instant Ticketing. Please direct any ticketing questions to whtix@davematthewsband.com.

Warehouse Ticket Request Period – Extended
The Warehouse ticketing request period has been extended until Wednesday, March 6th at 10 am ET. Members can place new requests or modify existing requests at any time before the request period ends. Once the request period ends, we will begin processing the random drawings, authorizing and charging credit cards. Members may have cards charged at any time after the request period ends and the date we post confirmations. We plan to post confirmations on or before Sunday, March 17th. Once we have completed the processing of the summer tour, we will send an email asking members to check their Ticket Status page.

Warehouse Annual Membership Package Update
The Warehouse is preparing for the mailing of the annual membership package. We expect to begin mailing the package within the next month to all members that joined or renewed in the 2012 calendar year. Membership packages are developed annually. Members that join or renew in 2013 will receive their annual package in the first few months of 2014.

Dave Matthews and Beezy Bailey Exhibit Opens in New York
An artistic collaboration between Dave Matthews and longtime friend and fellow South African, Beezy, Bailey will be on view at the Robert Miller Gallery in New York, NY from March 5 – April 13. ITICA PRITICA is an exhibition by Matthews and Bailey comprising 28 silkscreened works and a film made in collaboration, as well as a large scale sculptural installation by Bailey. The exhibition will be the artists’ first together in New York.

Long-time friends, Bailey and Matthews, both born in South Africa, first worked together in 1999 creating six paintings that were exhibited at Africa’s first World of Music, Arts and Dance festival in Johannesburg. In 2012 they collaborated on the present body of work, a homage to Warhol and Rauschenberg in enamel, oil and silkscreen on canvas. The Statue of Liberty, the “fatman,” and Bailey and Matthews themselves are reoccurring motifs. The film, ITICA PRITICA, was made on the first day of their collaboration in New York while scouting for source imagery to be used in the silkscreened works. Settling on a graffiti backdrop on the Bowery, Bailey, who is known for alter egos, began dancing around dressed in the “fatman” costume (a stylized fat suit) while Matthews filmed the impromptu performance with his mobile phone. Matthews had recently produced a melancholic yet humorous musical composition, and this unreleased material later became the film’s soundtrack.

DMB’s winter tour opening concert on November 30th at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ has become a benefit concert for Hurricane Sandy recovery. The benefit concert will feature special guest Jimmy Cliff and all proceeds, including ticket sales and merchandise, will go to the Bama Works Sandy Relief Fund. Proceeds from tickets that were purchased prior to the announcement of the benefit will also be donated to the Fund.

Proceeds from the VIP packages will be contributed by DMB to the Local Food Hub and the BAMA Works Fund. The Local Food Hub is an innovative Charlottesville-based nonprofit working to connect families, farms, and food grown close to home. Bama Works, DMB’s charitable fund administered by the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation, supports a wide variety of non-profit organizations locally, nationally and internationally.

VIP Packages are $275.00 per person (plus applicable convenience fees) and include the following:

In honor of National Voter Registration Day, Dave Matthews Band today released an updated edition of the “Mercy” video with a special message from Dave about voting and an embedded link to HeadCount.org's voter registration page.

This release is part of the first ever National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) and will bring together volunteers, artists, celebrities, organizations and corporations for a single day of coordinated efforts around voter registration. NVRD was established to help make voting easier and more universal. In 2008, 75 million Americans eligible to vote didn't, many because they weren't registered. This video is being released because, as it states in the opening text and in the chorus of the song, "One by one we can turn it around." We are pleased to announce the release of a new DMBLive show from the vault. We’ve chosen the 3.2.94 show from The Masquerade Nightclub in Tampa, FL (the historic Rivoli then Ritz Theatre, now the Ritz Ybor), the band's first performance at the venue during their very first tour dates in Florida.

Highlights of the show include a classic Warehouse with supporting vocals from Carter and, as always, one-of-a-kind playing from LeRoi. Hard hitters from the show include Tripping Billies, Pay For What You Get and a solid rendition of Help Myself. Minarets features Carter and Dave's scatting intro and ends with its typical feverish finish with a segue into Typical Situation. What Would You Say is funky and tight and keeps the crowd hollering. Bama Works Charity Ticket Auctions Underway
Bama Works charity ticket auctions are underway for the first few shows of the summer tour with more to be posted weekly. In general, we will be auctioning General Admission Pit standing tickets and Pavilion Reserved tickets for the 2012 U.S. summer tour. Unless otherwise specified, each pair of tickets will include access to the hospitality lounge area for band guests. Most venues have a General Admission Pit standing area with the Pavilion Reserved area located behind the GA Pit.

All proceeds from the auctions will benefit Dave Matthews Band's Bama Works Fund. Established in 1999, The Bama Works Fund supports charitable programs in the Charlottesville, VA area. The Bama Works Fund has contributed more than $14 million to charities since its inception. The Montage Mountain show’s setlist draws from all different time frames and showcases some relatively new arrangements and jams. Grace is Gone features a country-tinged outro and You & Me has a nice Digging A Ditch tease intro. So Damn Lucky is a pretty epic jam and the horns reprise the Digging A Ditch melody again in the song. #41 is a definite highlight, clocking in at over 20 minutes with Two Step a close second at sixteen minutes. Dave Matthews Band will headline the River's Edge Music Festival on historic Harriet Island, across the Mississippi River from St. Paul, Minnesota. All shows were assigned by membership seniority with the exception of the Gorge and two nights played in the same city. On two night runs, the first night was assigned at random. The first night of the Gorge was assigned at random. The second and third nights were assigned by seniority.

The Estimated Ship Dates will be posted to the Ticket Status page within the next week. All tickets will ship with the exception of non Premium GA Pit which will be held at will call. Members with multiple show tickets at will call will need to pick up their tickets on each individual show night.

If you placed a ticket request(s) for Dave Matthews Band summer 2012 tickets, please visit the Ticket Status page to determine if you have been confirmed or declined for concert tickets, Premium Ticket Packages, VIP/Premier Parking, Camping and/or CID Entertainment travel packages. Orders will reflect "Confirmed" or "Declined" on the Ticket Status page. Seating assignments will be posted in the near future.

Tickets will ship approximately 10 business days prior to the show via FedEx 2-day signature required service. If you have been confirmed for tickets to several shows within a series, all of the shows will ship together approximately 10 business days prior to the first show in the series. *All GA Pit tickets (except Premium) will be held at will call and must be picked up by the Warehouse member who ordered them, at the venue box office on the show day by presenting a valid photo ID. Dave Matthews Featured on Jack Johnson and Friends – Best of Kokua Festival
Jack Johnson and Friends - Best of Kokua Festival is slated for release on April 17th and features a 13-track compilation of live performances from Jack Johnson’s benefit concert for the Kokua Hawaii Foundation. Culled from six years of his eco-minded music festival, the album highlights onstage collaborations with legendary musicians like Willie Nelson, Jackson Browne, Eddie Vedder, Ben Harper, Dave Mathews, Ziggy and Damian Jr. Gong Marley and more. Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds perform with Jack Johnson on “A Pirate Looks at Forty”. Proceeds from the album will benefit Johnson’s Kokua Foundation.

Held on Earth Day weekend at Honolulu’s Waikiki Shell since its inception in 2004, the Kokua Festival serves as both a community-centered celebration of music and environmental awareness and as the major fundraiser for the Kokua Hawaii Foundation (a nonprofit organization founded by Johnson and his wife Kim in 2003 to support environmental education in the schools and communities of Hawaii).

Live Trax Vol. 21, 8.4.95 SOMA, San Diego, CA Now Available for Pre-Order
We've selected Dave Matthews Band's 8.4.95 show at SOMA in San Diego, California for the next installment in the Live Trax series. Live Trax Volume 21 is available for Pre-Order until February 24th as a 2-CD set or digital download. Pre-Order the CD and enjoy a $2 savings. The 95 San Diego SOMA show was performed in front of an intimate crowd and broadcast via radio. Dan Healy, the Grateful Dead's longtime audio engineer, was on board as the recording engineer. Despite it being a radio broadcast, the band was comfortable performing with experimental soloing and joking with the crowd.

The SOMA show features compelling renditions of classic songs with the band exhibiting great energy throughout the set. Highlights from the early show include LeRoi's performance on Proudest Monkey, I'll Back You Up in the encore as well as an exceptional Drive In Drive Out. This version of Don't Burn the Pig is an early jam, different from the later studio release on Before These Crowded Streets.

Dave Matthews Band brought their multi-artist Caravan tour to four US cities this summer with the opening weekend taking place in Atlantic City, New Jersey June 24th-26th. DMB brought new life to Bader Field, a defunct airport space surrounded by the Intracoastal Waterway, only a short bridge away from the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk. The band hosted a 3-day multi-stage, multi-artist festival ending each day of music with a headline performance. One four letter word sums up the weekend perfectly: E-P-I-C. DMB pulled some great stuff out of their trick bag on the last night in AC with rarity (and previously unreleased) Kill the King, Seek Up into Warehouse, Dive In featuring a new musical intro and a first for the band with a cover of Sweet Emotion. The crowd went wild during the quadruple encore when DMB began playing Halloween after Carter’s snare drum intro to Ants Marching, launching back into Ants at the end of Halloween. The New York DMB Caravan has been rescheduled to September 16th, 17th and 18th and relocated to Randall’s Island just off Manhattan on the East River. Calling all volunteers to help work the Caravan at Governors Island and The Gorge! The Work Exchange Team is accepting applications for workers (gates, stands, etc). Work at the DMB Caravan at Governors Island and catch DMB’s performance for free each night. To sign up for this opportunity, fill out a Work Exchange Team Application and mark that your preferred department is “FRONT GATE”. The links for applications for each city are below:

Dave and Tim to Perform at the DMB Caravan at Governors Island and The Gorge
We are excited to announce that Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will be performing an acoustic set on Sunday, August 28th and Sunday, September 4th at both the Governors Island and The Gorge DMB Caravan stops.

Dave Matthews Band Caravan will feature a diverse lineup of musical talent performing on multiple stages. Three-day passes, single-day tickets and VIP packages are still available for both Caravan events and can be purchased at www.DMBCaravan.com. or via phone at 1-800-594-TIXX. The camping passes are a flat fee and provide access to the Gorge Campground from Thursday, September 1st at 12 noon PT until Monday, September 4th at 12 noon PT. One camping pass is required per vehicle. The Gorge Campground is connected to The Gorge Amphitheatre by a short walking path.

On Saturday, August 20th, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will play nTelos Wireless Pavilion in Charlottesville, VA. This special concert will give fans a unique opportunity to help create a better world while enjoying an evening of live music. Immediately following Dave and Tim’s acoustic set, Warren Haynes Band will take the stage at the Jefferson Theater just down the street from the Pavilion. Proceeds from BOTH shows will benefit charities selected by each ticket purchaser.

General public tickets for the Dave and Tim show will go on sale beginning at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 5 at nTelos Wireless Pavilion. Lower Orchestra ($135 plus convenience), Upper Orchestra ($75 plus convenience) and General Admission Lawn tickets ($50 plus convenience) will be available. The second Dave Matthews Band Caravan stop of the summer will take place at Chicago's Lakeside on July 8th-10th. Dave Matthews Band Caravan will be the first-ever event held at Lakeside, where the panoramic view of downtown Chicago across the water will provide a backdrop for the festival. Dave Matthews Joins The Wilderness Society’s Governing Council
As one of the newest members of The Wilderness Society’s Governing Council, Dave Matthews is lending his voice to help preserve America’s treasured wilderness—including legislation to protect Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and the Alpine Lakes Wilderness expansion efforts near his home in Seattle. He is also calling on Congress to avoid short-sighted cuts in programs that preserve land, wildlife, and clean water. The Warehouse is preparing for the mailing of the annual membership package and expects to begin mailing the packages soon. All members that joined or renewed in 2010 will receive the package. Live Trax Volume 20: 8.19.93 Wetlands Preserve, New York, NY is the earliest show in the Live Trax series that we've been able to mix from multi-track. The historic, now defunct Wetlands Preserve has a neat history rooted in philanthropy and is one of the first NYC venues that DMB played. Highlights include a great run of songs, Dancing Nancies -> Typical Situation -> Blue Water on the setlist featuring longtime friend, Warren Haynes. Blue Water features Boyd and Warren weaving licks together with violin and slide. Best of What's Around as a closer is pretty rare and all in all, we just really love this high energy show from the early days.
